My name is Davina Bruno and for me, there’s nothing like the written word. I believe that much in this world can be impacted with the sacred act of storytelling, so I’m here to tell stories that will hopefully inspire positive change, or just works that showcase my skills; you never know who’s reading!
Who Am I?
A huge part of my identity is wrapped up in my home and culture. I grew up in Grenada, a tiny island in the West Indies, and much of how I see the world is filtered through my upbringing. At home, I was taught that your gifts and talents should be used wisely and responsibly – and most of all, it should honor your family and country in some way. Because of this, I developed a crazy strong work ethic which inspired my first book at the age of 15, freelance work in Austin, Texas and a personal blog. I moved to Texas solo, and completed my bachelor’s of science in public relations shortly after. I’ve indeed fallen in love with Texas, and I hope that no matter where life takes me, I’ll remember the beautiful city of Austin that graciously welcomed me in only 4 years ago.
My vision is simple: to use what God has given me to inspire positive change – which is something we’re all called to do. So, I’m here to write, interact with my readers, network and grow, with the hopes that this web page becomes a tool as much for my development as yours.
Let’s grow and learn together friends. I look forward to hearing from you.
